Why intergenerational learning is important for sustainability education

Our rapidly changing world calls for innovative approaches to education – ones that go beyond the classroom and engage whole communities. That’s where intergenerational learning comes in!

By connecting students with their families and older generations, we create opportunities to share knowledge, experiences and skills that can address pressing environmental challenges. Our project harnesses the power of citizen science to make this collaboration actionable and impactful.

Through activities such as co-creating projects, sharing sustainability practices or engaging in hands-on citizen science initiatives, we aim to bridge the generation gap and inspire a collective effort towards a greener future.
