How well do we really understand EU laws and regulations? Many citizens find EU legislation too complex or inaccessible, limiting their ability to participate in democratic life. That’s where Understanding EU comes in!
Our aim?
Involve citizens in identifying the key EU legal issues that matter to them Simplify complex legal texts to make them more accessible Strengthen resilience against fake news and misinformation about EU policies Through citizen dialogues, surveys and expert consultations, we are working to bridge the gap between legal experts and everyday citizens. By making EU law clearer and easier to understand, we can help more people take an active part in European democracy.
