After a year of work, the SUPPORT ME consortium is pleased to announce the publication of the “Practical guide for trainers/volunteers to train non-EU migrants”. The Guide is aimed at trainers and volunteers involved in the integration of migrants in the European Union. Understanding their reality in the best possible way is a first step to ensure the quality of training activities. To make this possible and to meet the needs of trainers and volunteers, the SUPPORT ME partnership has developed a guide consisting of four parts:
1. Knowledge of Migration Phenomena,
2. Dealing with Cultural Diversity in the Group,
3. Dealing with the Migration Journey,
4. Dealing with wellbeing elements,
The Guide does not only provide knowledge but also tools and procedures to adopt an adapted professional attitude as well as three concrete practical activities.
