This was precisely the question we addressed in our educational snacks!
After exciting practical examples from the Regional Environmental Education Centre (RUZ) Reinhausen and Ökotopia Südniedersachsen eV ‘Raus aufs Land’, we got down to work ourselves:
Discovering bean varieties – and using them to create creative necklaces, earrings and bracelets
Threshing grain, grinding flour – and baking and tasting delicious crispbread.
The afternoon offered not only inspiration for sustainable education, but also plenty of space for exchange and networking.
