The SAFE Hub includes two dedicated areas for adult educators:
- Training Room: Participate in the SAFE Train-the-Trainer programme and gain the skills and knowledge needed to effectively teach digital literacy and critical thinking to seniors.
- Repository: Access a wealth of educational resources focused on developing seniors’ digital literacy and critical thinking skills, seniors’ use of the Internet, and an extensive collection of links to other relevant materials.
For senior learners:
The hub has three key components tailored specifically for senior learners:
- Learning Videos: Engage with a series of videos covering key topics such as fake news, media literacy and critical thinking.
- Multimedia Production Toolbox: Use tools to produce, edit and publish audio and video testimonies that empower seniors to share their voices and experiences.
- Experience Sharing Space: A dedicated space for seniors to share their own audio and video statements about their encounters with fake news, fostering a supportive community of shared learning.
