The EU-project EDUCCKATE was represented at the Designers’ Open (DO) in Leipzig on 25. and 26. Oktober 2013.
The Designers’ Open is an internationally-oriented design exhibition with a communication forum and marketplace for the industry. The event displays the latest trends and directions in fashion, product, industrial and communication design as well as in architecture. EDUCCKATE was given a stage to present its unique concept to the international audience. The project representative of the German EDUCCAKTE partner BUPNET, Tim Scholze, was invited by the Chairman of the Association of German Industrial Designers, Bernd Schröder, to explain the EDUCCKATE concept and idea and its opportunities for the creative sector.
The Design Festival Leipzig represents the brains behind the entire design industry and is dedicated to innovative products, concepts and projects. Traditionally, on the last weekend of October, the Designers’ Open targets for three days both at professionals as well as at the design interested public. The event attracted more than 13.000 visitors.
