On the 20th and 21st of September we met with our partners from Denmark, Greece, Portugal and Spain in Göttingen (Germany) for the first transnational meeting of the project. At this meeting, the partners had the opportunity to discuss the first outcome to be developed within the project: A Guide for Vocational Training Institutions and Therapy Centres describing the benefits and best practices for the use of ecotherapy and providing practical guidelines for the implementation of vocational training courses in ecotherapy.
For the implementation of the guide, all partners gathered information on leading ecotherapy initiatives in Europe and in the participating countries. Interviews were also conducted with representatives of therapy and vocational training centres to obtain first-hand information about the implementation of ecotherapy in these institutions. We will soon be able to present the first results of this project.
