The everGREEN project concluded last week with a remarkable final multiplier event hosted at the European Parliament 🇪🇺. This three-year initiative has significantly advanced sustainability in VET by equipping organisations with the knowledge and tools to embrace eco-friendly practices.
Sarah Wild of BUPNET GmbH reflected on the project’s journey, showcasing achievements such as course development, robust frameworks, and practical resources that will guide future greening initiatives in education.
EVTA is proud to have contributed to this transformative project. Beyond its external impact, everGREEN has also inspired us to prioritise sustainability in our own operations, reaffirming our dedication to fostering a greener Europe.
⭐️ A key moment of the event was a thought-provoking panel discussion on embedding green skills in VET curricula. Panellists Hugo Marques Moniz (INOVINTER), Sabine Wiemann (BUPNET), and Taube Van Melkebeke (Green European Foundation) shared insights into best practices and the role of European policies in driving change.
As the project concludes, our efforts will focus on promoting the utilisation of these valuable resources. Oonagh McGirr FRSA (World Alliance for Microcredentials Foundation) introduced the concept of micro-credentials, opening doors to new opportunities in lifelong learning and professional development. Building on our partnership with WAM will be integral to sustaining the project’s impact.
