A key milestone in the MILES project is the creation and refinement of training materials to combat disinformation in education. This effort is based on a dual approach: analysing existing data and best practices, while actively developing innovative resources tailored to the needs of today’s educators.
Our commitment goes beyond theory. In the coming months, MILES will host an international workshop to test and refine these materials. This workshop will serve as a collaborative platform where educators, trainers and project partners will come together to evaluate the effectiveness of the content and shape its final structure.
The selected materials will form the basis of comprehensive training programmes aimed at equipping teachers with practical tools to promote media literacy, data literacy and critical thinking in their classrooms. By working directly with educators, MILES will ensure that the resources are not only impactful, but also adaptable to different national contexts.
