Best Practice 4

Here is a best practice we managed to identify during our piloting activities:

Some of the best activities are also the more challenging ones. This is great for some of the children, but frustrating for the ones that cannot keep up. When interactive elements were included in an environmental awareness module, which was presented for the first time, this caused great excitement with the children. However, it quickly became apparent that not all children were equally engaged by the content. Some children seemed distracted and had difficulty following the tasks. This led to mixed reactions – while some children participated enthusiastically, others felt frustrated. Upon reflection with all the children, the teacher decided to continue to integrate concepts of sustainability, but with a more balanced approach that includes both digital and practical elements. The topic will be introduced gently by creating small, hands-on projects.

You’ll be able to learn about many other best practices in our upcoming Audiovisual implementation report.
