We are pleased to introduce the SAFE Train-the-Trainer Programme, a comprehensive curriculum designed for adult educators working with older learners (65+). This blended learning programme equips educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively support and empower seniors in developing their digital literacy and critical thinking skills.
Programme Highlights:
- Introduction to Fake News: Educators will gain a thorough understanding of the issue of fake news, its impact and strategies for identifying and countering misinformation.
- Sensitivity to Older Learners’ Learning Needs: The programme highlights the specific learning needs of seniors, ensuring that educators can create supportive and effective learning environments.
- Developing digital and critical thinking skills: Educators will learn techniques to help seniors improve their digital and critical thinking skills, which are essential for navigating the modern information landscape.
- Age-Sensitive Learning Concepts and Methodologies: The programme introduces educators to age-appropriate teaching methods, enabling them to tailor their approaches to better suit senior learners.
- Multimedia Production Skills: Participants will acquire the skills needed to facilitate a multimedia production process that empowers seniors to create, edit and share their own audio and video content.
